NEET Counselling Process

The NEET UG counselling process consists of several stages:

1. Registration

During the registration process, candidates will be required to provide personal details, academic information, and details mentioned in their NEET result.

2. NEET Counselling Registration Fee

3. Choice Filling

After completing the registration process, candidates need to log into their registered account on the MCC portal and fill in their choices of courses and colleges in the desired order of preference. Candidates can choose any number of options from the provided list and can add, delete, move up, or move down choices as per their preference. It is crucial to save a copy of the filled choices for future reference.

4. Choice Locking

Candidates must lock their entered choices during the specified period to obtain a printout of their submitted choices. It is important to review the choices carefully before locking, as they cannot be modified or changed afterward. Candidates should not wait until the last minute to register, lock choices, or take a printout to avoid any inadvertent mistakes.

5. Verification by Universities and Processing of Seat Allotment

The universities and colleges will verify the registration details and choices submitted by candidates. Based on these choices, they will release the seat allotment result.

6. Seat Allotment Result

MCC will release the provisional seat allotment result, allowing candidates to submit objections if necessary. Subsequently, the final seat allotment list will be published. Candidates can either accept the allotted seat, proceed with the institute reporting round, or choose to upgrade their seats. Further rounds of counselling may be required for those opting for upgradation.

7. Reporting to the Allotted College

Candidates who receive seat allotments must report to the allocated institutes within the given deadline. During this reporting process, candidates’ documents will be verified, and they will need to confirm their seat.
