Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially announced that the External Practical Examination for Higher Secondary Part-I (Class 11th) Annual (Regular) Session 2025, covering both Soft Zone and Hard Zone areas, will be conducted by the respective schools/institutions themselves.
As per the notification, schools must conduct the practical exams immediately after the culmination of the written examinations for both zones. The Heads of Institutions are instructed to forward the practical award lists to the Joint Secretary, Secrecy (JD/KD), and the concerned Sub/Branch offices of JKBOSE within ten days after the conclusion of the practical exams.
Furthermore, the practical examinations will be conducted following the new/revised syllabus and course of study, as per Notification No. F(Acad-C) Rev-New/Tbs./23 dated 27-05-2023.
This decision ensures smooth conduct of practical exams at the institution level, reducing logistical challenges for students and teachers alike. Schools are advised to adhere strictly to the guidelines set by JKBOSE to maintain the integrity and standardization of the examinations.
