Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi in his address on Pariksha Pe Charcha said, “A society that does not give importance to education cannot progress.” This amply underlines that future of any progressive society lies in the high levels of vision, competence and dexterity of its youth who need to be equipped with the best possible skills and expertise so that they are able to discriminate between good and bad in tandem with social, moral and national values, and optimize quality of life. Great Indian philosopher Swami Vivekananda envisioned such an education system by which “character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one’s own feet.” In this sense, education plays the biggest role in forming the character of a society; its quality defines how harmonious its youth is – a perfect balance of mind, body and heart.
